Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, teaching communication, social and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training, even if you have no prior experience. You should be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team. The role involves physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience with autism is helpful but not required; training provided.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Contribute to reducing interfering behaviors and monitoring progress.
