Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, implementing individualized intervention plans and teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience required; comprehensive training provided. You must be able to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and obtain CPR/First Aid and TB testing; onboarding includes earning the Registered Behavior Technician

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications, and TB test within the last year.
• Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification after onboarding.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move in various positions.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors.
