Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; candidates should be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test; background check.
• Ability to lift and assist children up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under a BCBA's guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
