Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals for Behavior Technician roles to work one-on-one with children with autism under a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach essential skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, walk, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Reduce interfering behaviors while promoting safety
