Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under a BCBA, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills. This role requires patience, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Patience and care when working with children with autism.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB tests if not current.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Assist BCBA under supervision to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
• Maintain safety and comfort of children during activities.
