Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through individualized plans guided by a BCBA. You will implement evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while promoting positive behavior changes.

We offer comprehensive training and a supportive team environment. The role requires physical ability to assist children and a genuine passion for helping kids grow and reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR & First Aid Certification and TB test (within last year)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under a BCBA's guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support children in reducing interfering behaviors and promoting progress.
