Job summary

Centria-Healthcare is seeking motivated Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under the guidance of a BCBA, applying evidence-based techniques to teach essential skills and reduce challenging behaviors. Comprehensive training is provided, even for those new to the field.

Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and capable of teamwork. The role offers a starting pay of $17–$20 per hour, with increases based on experience, certifications, and education

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow supervision.
• Minimum age 18; high school diploma or GED required; CPR/First Aid and TB test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA guidance.
