Centria Autism in Milwaukie, OR is hiring Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children under a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. No prior experience is required; comprehensive training is provided.

You should be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team. The job may involve lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow BCBA guidance.
• 18+ years of age and high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one behavioral intervention under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and promote positive outcomes for children.
• Maintain safety and engage children during activities, with physical requirements as needed.
