Job summary

Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians in Oregon to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided. Candidates should be patient and team-oriented, able to stand and assist with activities, and comfortable handling up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (within the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
