CENTRIA AUTISM in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, while helping reduce challenging behaviors. Training is provided to build your skills and confidence.

Pay range is $17 to $20 per hour. Applicants should be patient, compassionate, and able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed; a high school diploma

Formación

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Assist in reducing interfering behaviors while maintaining safety.
