Job summary

Centria Autism in Stevensville, Michigan seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing behavior intervention plans under a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

This role requires patience, compassion, and teamwork. Training is provided. You may need to stand, move, and lift up to 50 pounds. Pay is $17–$20 per hour, with perks and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA guidance.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to support each child’s progress.
