Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum. You will implement individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA, using evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age; high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test.
• Pass background check prior to employment.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and support child progress under BCBA guidance.
