Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training so you are equipped and empowered to help each child, even without prior experience.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR, First Aid certification and TB test (if not in last year).
• Pre-employment background check required.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under a BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors to help children reach their potential.
