Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors, with comprehensive training provided.

This role requires patience, compassion, and the ability to stay active and adaptable.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test (if not up to date).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an RBT Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team environment.
• Undergo comprehensive training provided by Centria Autism.
