Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques while reducing challenging behaviors.

Starting pay range is $19–$20 per hour; comprehensive training is provided and growth opportunities exist within Centria. CPR/First Aid and RBT certification are required at some point.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year).
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Candidates must obtain a RBT Certification from the BACB.

Responsibilities

• One-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Work in a supportive team environment and participate in training.
• Follow safety and behavioral protocols as described in job duties.
