Job summary

Centria is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA's guidance. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training, flexible entry requirements, and a supportive team. The pay range is $18–$24 per hour, and the role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion to work with children
• Ability to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid and TB test
• Background check required
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children with autism
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Reduce interfering behaviors
• Stay active with movement-related tasks to support client safety
