Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team in Richardson, TX. You will work one-on-one with children under the guidance of a BCBA to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training and support so you can help each child reach their potential. The role requires physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to helping children with autism.
• Patient and able to work in a team.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Maintain safety and engage children during activities.
