Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians, working one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills, stay patient and compassionate, and receive comprehensive training; the job involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and may require background checks and certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Collaborate with team and participate in training through Centria.
