Job summary

CENTRIA AUTISM is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, following individualized behavior plans under a BCBA's supervision to teach communication and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; no prior experience required. The role involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and ensuring safety.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test if you haven't had one in the last year.
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Join a dedicated team and help children reach their full potential.
