Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one sessions under a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans and use evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, while managing challenging behaviors.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and a willingness to learn. Training is provided; physical activity is required to support clients, with a pay range of $19.00–$20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable standing, walking, and bending as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans.
• Implement techniques under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors through evidence-based methods.
• Collaborate with team to support a child’s goals.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
