Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.

Responsibilities include implementing individualized plans, staying patient and supportive, and collaborating with a team to help kids reach their full potential. Training is provided, with a pay range of $20.00–$29.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors using evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with a team to support each child’s goals.
• Provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to families and staff.
