Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in one-on-one settings. You will implement individualized intervention plans under a BCBA's guidance, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.

Ideal candidates are patient, compassionate, and team-oriented. Training is provided, with physical tasks including standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and mobility required throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate and able to work in a team.
• Comfortable with physical activities and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Assist with physical positioning and safe handling of clients.
