Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism through one-on-one sessions. You will implement behavior plans under a BCBA, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training will be provided to all hires. Expect physical activity, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and a team-oriented environment that values patience and compassion.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18+ years of age.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans with evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Assist with safety and physical support as needed; contribute to daily goals.
