Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing customized behavior plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; candidates must be patient and collaborative. You may be required to move and assist with lifts up to 50 pounds as part of daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must obtain RB T Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and ensure child safety during activities.
