Job summary

Centria Autism is looking for enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA's guidance. You’ll use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Paid training is provided; applicants should be passionate, patient, and team-oriented. The role involves physical activity and lifting up to 50 pounds, with a pay range of $18–$24 per

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Sits and stands from floor or chair multiple times per day.
• Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
• Runs or moves quickly as needed to engage and protect clients.
