Job summary

Centria Autism in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized behavior plans, using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.

We provide comprehensive training so you can contribute effectively from day one. The role requires physical activity such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds; prior experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test; background check required.
• Able to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an RBT certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.
• Collaborate with a team to support client progress.
