Job summary

Centria Autism in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum under BCBA supervision. You will implement individualized intervention plans and use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required; comprehensive training is provided. You must be patient, compassionate, able to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfortable moving in multiple positions.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• End-of-day reflection on impact and progress with the team.
