Job summary

Centria Autism in Michigan is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team. In this role you will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

This position requires patience and teamwork, 18+ years old, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Training is provided and diversity is valued.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid cert and TB test.
• Background check required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to move and be active with children.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement behavior plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with BCBA for guidance and supervision.
• Ensure safety of children during activities and routines.
