Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized interventions under the guidance of a BCBA.

You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. We provide comprehensive training, expect physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, and offer a pay range of $17-$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications and TB test within required timeframe.
• Able to pass pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress as part of a team.
