Centria Healthcare seeks enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians, supporting children with autism through one-on-one intervention under the guidance of a BCBA. You will learn evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while ensuring safety.

We provide comprehensive training and a clear path to certification as a Registered Behavior Technician, with pay range of $20–$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behaviour intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors while supporting the child’s development.
• Move and assist safely with children as needed during activities.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to monitor progress.
