Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA's guidance and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.

We value patient, compassionate teamwork. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided; candidates must be able to stand, walk, sit, lift up to 50 pounds, and obtain the RB Technician certification after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an RB Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Operate under the guidance of a BCBA.
• Assist with safety and physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
