Centria is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in Farmington Hills, MI. You’ll work one-on-one under a BCBA, teaching communication, social and daily living skills with evidence-based methods.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• CPR, First Aid certification and TB test if not current
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• One-on-one work with children under supervision of a BCBA
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based methods
• Reduce interfering behaviors while promoting independence
• Collaborate with a team to implement individualized plans
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive environment for children and families
