Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism in Farmington Hills, MI. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA to implement individualized behavior plans, teaching communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.

No experience required; comprehensive training is provided. The role requires patience, teamwork, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Pay ranges $17-$20 hourly.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification and Tuberculosis test (or ability to obtain)
• 18+ years of age
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, kneel, lift up to 50 pounds)
• Experience not required; training provided

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans
• Assist BCBA under supervision to teach communication, social and daily living skills
• Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors
• Collaborate with team and families to support child progress
