Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI. You will work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA and teaching communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training. You must be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test
• Pass pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized plans under BCBA guidance.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.
• Contribute to a supportive team environment and participate in training.
