Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join us as Behavior Technicians. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, using evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. We offer comprehensive training, a supportive team, and opportunities to impact a child’s life.

Location: Farmington Hills, MI. Pay range: $17–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• Patience, compassion, and ability to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors
• Collaborate with team to support each child's goals and progress
• Ensure safety and supportive environment during sessions
