Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing personalized intervention plans under a BCBA. You will teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based methods while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided; physical activity is involved, including lifting up to 50 pounds. This role offers meaningful daily impact and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• CPR/First Aid certification and TB test within the last year.
• Pass pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and support child development.
