Job summary

Centria Autism in the United States is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA and using evidence-based methods to build communication, social, and daily living skills. We provide comprehensive training; candidates should be patient and compassionate and able to work in a team.

The role involves lifting up to 50 pounds and may require standing, walking, or bending.

Qualifications

• Requires passion for helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test.
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Able to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using individualized intervention plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA guidance.
• Collaborate with a team to support children and families.
• Ensure safety and proper handling of clients up to 50 pounds.
