Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one with clients, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under supervision by a BCBA, teaching communication, social and daily living skills with evidence-based techniques.

This role requires patience, teamwork, and physical ability to move and assist children, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age; High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and TB test (within last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.) and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Candidates must obtain an Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Help reduce interfering behaviors and support meaningful progress for each child.
