Job summary

Centria Autism seeks enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavioral plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You’ll use evidence-based strategies to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training; no prior experience required. Candidates must be patient, compassionate, and able to work in a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Tuberculosis test (if not completed in the last year).
• Pass a pre-employment background check.
• 18+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children to implement individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress with supervision.
