Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, using evidence-based methods to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

The role requires patience, teamwork, and physical stamina to assist children up to 50 pounds. Training is provided, and a Registered Behavior Technician certification is required within 45 days of onboarding.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• 18+ years of age with HS diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certification and TB test.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification required within 45 days of onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children using evidence-based behavior plans.
• Support communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Reduce interfering behaviors under BCBA supervision.
• Move, stand, and position children up to 50 pounds.
