Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children under the supervision of a BCBA. You will help implement individualized behavior intervention plans, teaching communication, social and daily living skills using evidence-based methods.

Candidates should be patient, compassionate, and capable of teamwork. Training is provided; you may lift up to 50 pounds and must be able to stand, walk, sit, and move as needed throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test (within last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, stand, bend, kneel).
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children under a BCBA guidance to implement behavior plans.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, supportive environment for children during activities.
