Job summary

Centria is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided. You should be patient, compassionate, and able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Team-oriented and able to collaborate with others.
• 18+ years of age and able to meet physical requirements.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test (within a year).
• Background check clearance prior to employment.
• Ability to move, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
