Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Lansing, MI. You will work one-on-one with children, implementing BCBA-guided behavior plans and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training and a supportive team. You must be patient, compassionate, able to work in a team, and capable of lifting up to 50 pounds. The pay range is $17–$20 per hour.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism and able to work in a team.
• 18+ years of age with high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test if not current.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure consistency and safety for clients.
• Support children in engaging activities and manage challenging behaviors when needed.
