Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Michigan to work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, delivering individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

No prior experience required as comprehensive training is provided; candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to lift up

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism and teamwork.
• 18+ years old with HS diploma or GED; eligible for CPR/First Aid and TB testing.
• Willing to pass a pre-employment background check and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA supervision.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques.
• Reduce interfering behaviors and monitor progress under supervision.
