Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians in Michigan to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized plans under a BCBA’s guidance. You will apply evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

We provide comprehensive training and value patient, compassionate team players. The role requires physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and standing/walking; pay ranges from $17 to $20 per hour

Qualifications

Passionate about helping children with autism.
Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
18+ years of age; High school diploma or GED.
Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test; background check.
Ability to move in various positions and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA.
Work one-on-one with children to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
Use evidence-based techniques to reduce interfering behaviors.
Engage in client-focused activities while maintaining safety and professionalism.
