Centria Autism is hiring Behavior Technicians in Lansing, MI to work one-on-one with children with autism under the guidance of a BCBA. You will implement individualized intervention plans and teach communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based techniques, while reducing challenging behaviors.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team
• 18+ years of age, with HS diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification and TB test
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Reduce interfering behaviors while supporting skill acquisition
• Collaborate with a BCBA and the team to ensure consistency and progress
