Job summary

Centria Autism in Michigan is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism under the supervision of a BCBA. You will work one-on-one to implement individualized behavior plans and teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training. You should be patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team, with the physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• High school diploma or GED; CPR/First Aid certs and TB test may be required.
• Registered Behavior Technician Certification after onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Sitting down and standing up from the floor or chair many times throughout the work day.
• Occasionally lifting up to 50lbs.
• Running or moving quickly as needed to ensure client safety.
