Job summary

Centria Healthcare is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under the supervision of a BCBA, applying evidence-based techniques to build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

You’ll be part of a compassionate team, with training provided. The role involves physical activity and may require lifting up to 50 pounds; CPR/First Aid and TB testing may be required.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification and TB test; complete pre-employment background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism under BCBA guidance.
• Implement individualized intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Help teach communication, social, and daily living skills; ensure safety during activities.
