Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to support children with autism. You will work one-on-one under a BCBA, applying evidence-based techniques to build communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.

Training is provided; no prior experience required. The role involves physical activity to assist clients and may include lifting up to 50 pounds. Pay range: $19–$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when supporting children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must obtain CPR/First Aid and TB test, or provide current certification.
• Must pass pre-employment background check.
• Comfort with moving and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with autism under BCBA supervision.
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans using evidence-based techniques.
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills; reduce interfering behaviors.
• Join a dedicated team and contribute to improved outcomes for children and families.
