Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing individualized intervention plans under BCBA guidance. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

No prior experience is required; we provide comprehensive training. Candidates should be patient and team-oriented, comfortable with physical activities (standing, lifting up to 50 pounds), and able to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Patience and compassion when working with children with autism.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification and TB test (if none in last year).
• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
• Physically able to sit, stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
• Participate in training and apply learned strategies to support each child's goals.
